Petersens Take Over Yosemite

The Yosemite Vacation Tidbits...

The Petersen Brotherhood (behind them is Bass Lake - south of Yosemite. It had a really cute little town with lots of shops to keep Diane and the grandmothers happy)

We took this hike to Vernal Falls and it about killed us all. At least we got to see an actual waterfall (all the other waterfalls were "weeping rocks" because of the drought.

I thought we would lose Grandma Speakman a couple of times on the hike. She barely made it out alive...

This was just too precious. After all these years they are still in love...(it must be the convertible Mustang that keeps them going)

And here we all are! We had quite the crew. This is after our long 3 hour detour to see the Hetch Hetchy Falls that my Dad just couldn't bear to miss. Yup - the waterfalls that were all dried up and nothing but a stain on the rocks...but don't worry...we weren't bitter. We did get to go through a super-cool tunnel.
